    Be forewarned...that's a pretty old guide. Some of the advice is 
relevant but some is outdated, such as the recommendation to run
icewmbg. There is no need to anymore as icewm-session runs it automatically.

By the way I don't ***think*** it's possible to do what you want with icewm.
