Hello! I've been trying to get my icewm to function as I would like but I am not having a lot of luck. I've tried using the focus_mode for sloppy focus AND custom modes, but there is one thing that just will not work. I stopped using focus_mode 2 because I could not make icewm raise a window if an application asks for it to be raised. Instead, it would just blink in the taskbar. With focus_mode 0 and the appropriate settings in the preferences, I am able to get this to work as I'd like. What does not work is this situation. 1) focus is on WINDOW A. I hit a keyboard combination and WINDOW B pops up in front of WINDOW A and under my cursor. I hit something on WINDOW B and it closes WINDOW B and the mouse is left over WINDOW A but WINDOW A does not take focus back. I thought for sure 'StrongPointerFocus=1' would be the answer, but this setting isn't making a difference. Is there something I am missing? Basically I have settings windows that pop up in a CAD environment and when I close them, my focus doesn't return. I have to take the cursor OUT of the window and back in to get it to take focus (or of course click on the window). Thoughts? Rick |
