Terminal from the menu. I dont see where I have an update-alternatives utility anywhere. And I just saw the background reply. I am using icewem in vnc. icewmbg -r Xlib: extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display ":1.0". icewmbg: using /home/bruce3/.icewm for private configuration files Xlib: extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display ":1.0". Still no backrgorund change. Still have the small chainlink fence looking background. Here is my .icewm files: preferences DesktopBackgroundColor = black TaskBarAutoHide = 1 Thanks, Bruce Eduard Bloch wrote: > #include <hallo.h> > * mailserver2000 [Mon, Aug 03 2009, 12:46:21PM]: > > >> I cannot get icewem to open a terminal window. xterm works ok and opens >> ok, but I prefer a terminal. >> > > What is "a terminal"?
