Another problem I found: when I click on gkrellm and the press Alt-Tab (quick switch), gkrellm is the list. When the workspace has just gkrellm running, gkrellm is also in the quick switch list. I don't know which is the desired behaviour. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Marko Macek (captnmark) Date: 2005-06-29 22:43 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1814 this should work now that per-workspace last-focused window is remembered (maybe this should be an option) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Marko Macek (captnmark) Date: 2004-08-14 10:05 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1814 <linuce> Oh I see. In fact, that's more a conceptual problem than a technical one <linuce> captnmark: I think, but that what *I* think, that when switching workspace, the previous focus windows in a given workspace should get back its focus. In our case, that's xterm, but frankly, some people might think differently. <captnmark> what is probably needed is to make desktops much more independant than they are now and have per-desktop focus <captnmark> yes <linuce> captnmark: yes, per-desktop focus is IMHO what is needed. Does EWMH specify something about it ? <captnmark> if course there might be a bad effect if you give focus to address bar (or something) and it will switch away on desktop switch (but this already happens now) <captnmark> linuce: not exactly (but I need to reread it). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Marko Macek (captnmark) Date: 2004-08-14 10:01 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1814 <captnmark> the problem is that when you switch to an desktop with only rox, the rox gets focus (as it should) but doesn't lose it when you switch back (because it's not certain one would want that in every case). Need to think of something ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Marko Macek (captnmark) Date: 2004-08-12 21:14 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1814 I am unable to reproduce the first problem (gkrellm 2.2.2-1.1.fc2.fr) it seem to work fine for me. Are you using any other icewm preferences other than the default (focus related, ...)? The second issue is as desired. The focused window will always be shown in the alt+tab list. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100031&aid=1006492&group_id=31 |
