Hello all, I am using IceWm 1.2.6-1 with RH 8.0 and Gnome 2.4. When I do CTRL-ALT-DEL, the CTRL-ALT-DEL MENU appears with all the different options :Lock workstation, Logout, Cancel, Restart Icewm, Reboot, Shutdown. The button ICEWm restart works. But the buttons Reboot and Shutdown don't. When I clik one of them, I see the Cancel Logout window appear. If I clik on Ok, it just closes the active windows but does not launch the system shutdown or the system reboot. In my preferences files I have the following commands : # Command to shut down the system ShutdownCommand="sudo shutdown -h now" # Command to reboot the system RebootCommand="sudo shutdown -r now" Sudo is setup correctly as I can use these commands from the command line and they launch system halt or reboot. Any ideas how to make the CTRL-ALT-DEL buttons work ? Thanks in advance, -- Alas, I am dying beyond my means. -- Oscar Wilde [as he sipped champagne on his deathbed] |
