Very small fonts in Menu-bar

Hi:-) 


Now the Subject-title: "Very small fonts in Menu-bar" could be
misleading as it only applies to _one_ application, that is pan.

So far I played with .Xressources like this:
(using Emacs-setting as an example)
Emacs*menubar*fontSet:-mozilla-courier-bold-r-normal-*-21-*-*-100-*-101-iso8859-1
Pan*menubar*fontSet:-mozilla-courier-bold-r-normal-*-21-*-*-100-*-101-iso8859-1

it did not have any effect and  the fonts displayed are still rather
tiny.
