What can I do to make this work? I seem to have now solved this, and possibly fixed another long-running issue in the process. Previously I was never able to log into CUPS via the web interface, not sure why, maybe Firefox issue. Now I have done so and figured out the SuSE-specific lppasswd problem, after which I ran through the CUPS options under 'Manage Printer'. There were two identical ppd file entries. Having tried both I've now got the one I need with the 5x7 option. Hopefully will all work fine now. Cheers, gumb |
