I've checked the provided modification and hjt hangs while scanning. it fails on checkjava(). I don't know yet what is going on, just thought I would let you know first.

So sorry for the delayed reply. If you put a breakpoint at the first statement in the checkjava routine, you can step through the code line by line. Could you please tell me which line hangs? I ask this because I cannot reproduce the problem you are experiencing. Also please tell me whether or not you have java installed, and which version.

Java was a little complicated, but here are the changes to 2.0.6 for both Java and Flash
Did you ever get the chance to look at these changes?
