The only analogue video capture program that I've managed to
capture SMOOTH, PAL DVD RESOLUTION video with is
Nuppelvideo. Although I have sucessfully captured BTTV video under
Cinelerra 1.1.5, it is jerky, the sound is out of sync and it doesn't
(seem to) support defining the resolution of captured video. So, it
would be great if Cinelerra natively support .nuv files, even better
would be if the current BTTV capture code was replaced by the
Nuppelvideo code so i wouldn't need to use an external capture
program and it would also benefit from Cinelerra's existing support
for displaying the audio input level.
BIG respect to the Cinelerra developers- you have produced a
stunning piece of software- definately the most significant piece of
coding since The Gimp! Keep up the good work please!

Firstly, Nuppel Video sounds like some sexual arousement toy
or something. Secondly, history shows that if you wait long
enough before supporting a file format, another file format
will arrive which you can use as an excuse for not
supporting the first file format.
