It would be great if HeidiSQL had a nice view of existing stored procedures
together with a comfortable way to create and edit them.

Seconded. As the database world progresses, stored procedures are becoming
more and more common - in my opinion, this is the ONE feature which
prevents HeidiSQL from being a one-stop MySQL resource.

The developers may put a scheduler function to send mail with the results of procedures.

I agree, HeidiSQL is very good (perhaps the best?), but we have a lot of stored
procedures to maintain and have to rely on other tools for that.

If you want to vote for an enhancement, just click the yellow star here. So the
developers can see how important that is to users.

I just downloaded HeidiSQL after having trouble with EMS's MyManager for the
umpteenth time. I like the interface and all the functionality I quickly checked
seemed easy to use and easy to find. But, alas, a storproc functionality would be
great. We use storprocs extensively as well. MyManager handles them well.

As this issue has most stars of all, I'm now on the way to implement a cute editor
for procedures and functions. It's nearly ready. Probably some user input before
commiting would be nice. See attached screens.

Nearly done in [r2288] . Only the routines are not visible anywhere in Heidi so you can
only create new routines.
