I am unable to reproduce. I did find a minor problem wiht your settings. Your ClimaCell (tomorrow.io) keys are for Version 3 but the interface is now Version 4. You'll need to apply for a new key.
As I said,I was unableto reproduce the crash you are seeing. I find another but that wasn't yours but perhaps it will fix your peoblem. Try this download please: https://www.danleys.org//Meteorologist-3.5.0.b3.dmg

That alignment issue is not you but also not fixable. It is using a "tab" character to attempt to align but I can't define what the tab stop should be.

Ed, This was probably already tried, but if can force a "Zero" (0) to the left of all single digit dates, might this fix the alignment issues.
If not the PLEASE GO ON TO ADDRESS other important bigs. This is a readability issue and users will just have to adjust. To me no big deal. But to you?: Probably an "elegance" issue.

Can you provide a crash report or anything from Console?
Just downloaded Meteo 3.4.6. Crashes on opening.

Ed, I had to download it to see what I had put into it that made it excellent……… :-)
You have your PLIST file, your crash logs, screen shots, the whole works all at the same time.
Bad news. I can't reproduce the problem but I can see a problem. Let me work on that one and hopefully it will fix the other issue.
