Hi Shelly. This project area is for Meteorologist Classic, whose only sound effect is a beep alert when an updated version is detected. Anyhow, glad you were able to find the solution.

Updating Italian localization

Hi Mark. As this forum is for Meteorologist Classic, I guarantee that MC does not produce any sound effects except for a beep when detecting an available update. However, you are probably hearing the sound effect from the other Meteorologist app, which recently added that feature, according to its release notes. Please check that project's website for more information.

Hello. This forum is for Meteorologist Classic (MC). I have verified that MC runs on the latest macOS v26.3, including Apple Silicon. I do not know the status of Meteorologist.

Thanks for your interest! The file you attached is the old Italian l10n from the original code. With Meteorologist Classic v1.8, I have revised much of the text and created an updated strings file. You can find that file in the svn repo. You will need to translate that file, and then send it to me or attach it here. Thanks.
