I've just acquired an HE853 USB adaptor, and was wondering if you'd had any success working with the UK version of the sockets?

I notice your code has a separate "CommandUK" version, which (as far as I can tell) is executed in addition to the "CommandCN" and "CommandEU" versions when "Short Code" is not selected.

However, my UK sockets are not reacting at all when the signals are sent.

I was wondering if there was any information available on how the UK sockets differ from the EU ones - and is there any way I can figure out if this is solveable, short of buying an RF receiver and trying to reverse engineer the values sent by my working remotes?

    Thanks,
    Nick

      Dear Nick,

unfortunately I had only access to the EU version of the HE853 system while creating this project. Furthermore most of my knowledge was acquired by reversing the original software, so I am not aware if there is any documentation available. However there are some other FOSS projects which have implemented support for HE853. Back then, I think the Robot Operating System (ROS) was one of them. Maybe a member of them can point you in the right direction, if you haven’t tried already. When you can spent about 20 Euro, you could acquire an SDR capable DVB-T dongle (see http://www.rtl-sdr.com/) and try to capture the signal with the DVB-T dongle and replay it with HE853 dongle. While the HE853 system uses a rolling code, at least the EU version responded to the same signal multiple times.

Sorry for not having satisfying answer for your problem.

      Best regards
      Thomas
