#11 Menu Icon please
Would you like a menu icon to be designed?
(If you have no interest in menu icons please read no
further, close this thread and we'll make no further
mention of it ;)
I have noticed that the Debian package for gwc lacks a
menu icon.
FYI: The Debian menu system uses 32x32 pixel XPMs,
which would be located in this instance at
/usr/share/pixmaps/gwc.xpm and referenced from the menu
file /usr/lib/menu/gwc with a line like this:
icon="/usr/share/pixmaps/gwc.xpm"
I'm sure the Debian package maintainer will be able to
make these changes so long as a suitable icon is
provided with the source code. I'm on a mission to make
the multimedia menus look as good as possible, so I'm
encouraging developers to include icons or point me to
suitable resources from which I could create one. I
have already designed a set of generic default icons
for multimedia applications, which we will continue to
use until we come up with a better solution.
If you're not graphically inclined, I'm offering to
create a suitable icon and submit a menufile patch to
the maintainer for the Debian system into the bargain.

I have updated the icon support and the latest release should install a set of icons for menus etc.
