Having just built an OpenEmbedded system for my NSLU2 (another small XScale-based Linux system) I think OpenEmbedded for the Gumstix would be a great idea. I much prefer the OE / BitBake configuration to the current buildroot system, it's very easy to build individual packages and deploy them with bitbake/ipkg. Tim |
