It's supposedly handled by the 
LIBGPOD_MAJOR_VERSION/LIBGPOD_MINOR_VERSION/LIBGPOD_MICRO_VERSION/LIBGPOD_INTERFACE_AGE 
stuff at the beginning of configure.ac, but I'm not sure what we are 
supposed to do to get a new version breaking ABI without raising 
LIBGPOD_MAJOR_VERSION :-/
