-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi there, I did not have time yet to look at the code of gtkpod again, sorry for that after making so much fuzz. I really hope I can look into the issue, ~ but I think it won't be before early March. To be able to randomly load my iPod meanwhile I wrote a little Python script that selects random tracks from a directory tree; it also reads ID3 tags and can select by genre: http://www.dark-reality.de/shuffler/ I know it's not the best place to advertise for this, and I apologize, but I know there are some iPod shuffle users here so I wanted to tell anyway. Now beat me. It's not sufficient for me anyway, because I have my MP3's on several disks so I need a library program like gtkpod sooner or later. But it's a start, and it shows that gnupod-0.98-RC1 works fine, so we should be able to look at their code to find out how to handle the database file for Shuffle from mktunesdb.pl best regards, ~ Lars - -- Lars Grunewaldt * software development * multimedia design skills: C/C++/Java/PHP/(X)HTML/Flash/audio/video web: http://www.dark-reality.de mail: lg...@da... -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFCFdxyQWC6DTWkDAoRAlveAJ4qeaybm05lXkbYNXaRXpjJg2Q+9QCghiWb oXsdXRIg1q+OEy0cRVQixO4= =3Awj -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |
