Hi Kerry, good to hear that it's working fine, and thank you very much for your offer to help. Documentation is a very good suggestion -- we had some discussion about this a few weeks ago. It was proposed that we go with a wiki, which is probably a good idea as it allows fast editing by everyone who gets confused. I've set up a space at gtkpod.wikispaces.com -- it can be edited by anyone. If you are interested you could start off this work by transferring the information given in the README file to that site and modify and structure it to your liking. By the way, I've spent one day in SLC earlier this year. I wanted to see the Salt Lake and also the headquarter of the Mormon church. Both were quite impressive, but I hope you got some rain since then (the Big Salt Lake was very much dried out...).
