Hi,
It's 3:52 am and I have been looking, searching. compiling, trying, and=20
here's where I am and what I think I know:
Standard directory structure for iPod
/{mountpoint]/iPod_Control/iTunes/.....
SKVR:
/{mountpoint}/iTunes/iTunes_control/(iTunes,Music/F00,F01,...Fnn)
please excuse my bastardizatiion of csh multiple argument syntax
=46rom what I can tell I have set up the directory structure that needs to=
=20
be present for the thing to work.
Now how in the world do I make the gtkpod ( downloaded version 0.99.8 from=
=20
gtkpod.org but it reports itself as 0.99.2) to realize that this is what=20
I have? It continues to insist on creating what I think of as=20
the 'default' directory tree which starts with:
/{mountpoint]/iPod_Control/iTunes/..... ???
I cannot find any reference or configuration item that lets me specify the=
=20
alternate. What do I do?
If you can understand these ramblings of a madman who cannot seem to give=20
up his hope to actually use his SLVR for music, please tell me what to do=20
to make this little phone fulfill it's purpose as an iTunes player!=20
With this I go to bed, I hope I wake up to an answer!

P.S. Thanks for all of the work! I wouldn't have been able to stay up this=
=20
late if there had been no trail to follow. I guess I do love the hunt!
P.S.S I will do whatever testing you want on this phone too if you need me=
=20
to.
