Well, if you check my snapshots (the exact reason I did this), you'll see
clearly it's there. I have no idea why, it could well be from random poking
at it when I first started playing with it. But I have
iPod
Podcast
Local
Podcast
(eg, see http://digitalramble.com/public/podcast1.png )
Should I delete the second Podcast at the bottom? If so, how?
The local repository can be used to hold your local files on your harddisk

Not sure I follow this. So let's say I click on the Local in order to
select it, then use one of the file/dir buttons to put in a selection of
same into that Local list. After I arrange and prune or whatever else, then
what? I would just drag and drop "Local" on top of "iPod" ?
The podcast repository is pretty much the same but is supposed to be used

I'm not per se concerned about podcasts since I'll never listen to them.
But from this I'm guessing they need particular handling? They are
indistingushable from music files so they need to be "tagged" some how?
When/if we add support for pictures I guess we'll have another Repository

Well, certainly the interface for videos now is really kind of a WTF because
I have no idea what all those items in the "Special" thing are, and the
values dropped into the various boxes give me no clue whatsoever. Seems
like it would totally make sense to add Photo and Movie to the Podcast under
iPod. Shoot, I'd put Music under there as well, but I am probably not
understanding the functional layout just yet.
How *would* I delete a movie from the iPod that I added via gtkpod? Since I
cannot seem to bring up a list of the movies anywhere on the gtkpod. Should
I just use nautilus to nuke it? Any pitfalls with that?
Thanks,
