Hi Richard, thanks for taking the time to write. You don't have to delete manually as the existing playlist is deleted automatically when you call the menu item again. Maybe I'll add some way for automagic updates on export as I'm missing this feature as well. On the other hand, I'm planning on implementing smart playlists a la itunes soon, which could make the entire menu item <Create Playlist> obsolete. > 2) Could we have a way of looking at the properties of a tracklist? > Showing the number of tracks, total running time, a refresh button (see > above), and possibly..... ctrl-i (or use the menu item View->something). > 3) The ability to create a playlist based on a "special" tab, as in tracks > or artist, and have it remember the criteria so it can be refreshed as per > 1? No -- too much hazzle. But this also should be obsoleted by smart playlists. > Other than that I'm really happy with gtkPod, I've not even bothered > installing iTunes (as I don't run windows). Then how did you get your 4G to run under Linux? I tried but the HD was blank and I needed to install iTunes in order to have it formatted. Please repsond to the list.
