Relying on blindly posting every error message to a mailing list and not bothering to understand the solutions or following advice, it is unsurprising you have given up. I especially like the "it never worked for me" attitude because I am a user and not a programmer. Are you suggesting every other person in the world who has successfully installed gtkpod is by implication a programmer because I can guarantee that is so not the case.
