Yep, this file is what you get when you use the old HAL callout on a nano5g (which sends some raw SCSI commands to the device). You have to use the (new) USB support in ipod-read-sysinfo-extended to get the appropriate file. For what it's worth, once all of that lands into distros, this error-prone step shouldn't be necessary since they will install the "new" HAL callout which does the right thing. Another thing to pay attention to is that the SysInfoExtended file with the SQL commands might get overwritten by a partial SysInfoExtended every time you plug the iPod in (ie you might have to rerun this command every time).
