It would add/delete .mp3 files under Music and create new iTunesCDB files. Both SysInfo and SysInfoExtended contained the correct Firewire ID, but there were always "0 Songs". I also tried Floola under both Windows and Linux and had the same results (except that when quitting, Floola crashed under Windows and locked up running at 100% CPU on Linux). Then I downloaded the gratis version of MediaMonkey under Windows, and it worked fine with no problems. I've learned my lesson: stay away from players that require external management programs. ;) I think I'll stick with my Sansa/Rockbox where all you have to do is copy media files... -- Grant |
