This is not possible with my iPod shuffle, no menus at all. I understand the need to distinguish these models in a technical way. When it comes to usability I see 2 possible ways: a) the iPod is recognized automatically (as iTunes is able to) b) there is an really easy way for the user to determine without guessing. If both are not possible, make the guess as easy as possible with no distracting information. Anyway: what happens if I choose the wrong model in gtkpod? Is there any risk to harm my device irrevocably? Greets Alex -- »With the first link, the chain is forged.
