Where do these numbers come from? Additional question: is it not possible to retrieve this number from the device itself? Further suggestion: if it is not possible for the user to _easily_ find out this number with the iPod itself without guessing from some list, then why not remove the numbers from the list shown by gtkpod? If I anyhow select from the list by choosing the most likely model, I don't need these numbers at all. Additional suggestion: don't call it model number if it is not the model number printed on the iPod itself, this is distracting.
