Hello, I'm new here but I couldn't dig this problem out of the mailing list. (guess my glossary here is a bit short) I'm at Slackware 9.1 with DHCP at a Surfboard 4200E cable modem. When I'm closing gtk-gnutella all Internet access dies. I use to select ultra-node to run a couple days, then some ppl needs to use Windows. The Realtek adapter comes up fine automatically which I believe is built-in to the HP Pavillion mobo... really nice output here but I couldn't replicate the Internet hang-up in any other application. Is the ISP firewalling me? The Surfboard shows four green and a blinking amber light as if it's OK, but I have to do a power-cycle for a little more than a minute. People are waiting for this modem to come up while I was caught red-handed with gtk-gnutella... does me right doesn't it? ;-) Anyway, sorry if this has been brought up times and times over but I've searched a few months back. Say, will I have to move a port number in gtk-gnutella conf? It could be really simple. Other suggestions please?
