hi, i am on a proxy server to the outside world, i have asked the management of that proxy if port 6346 is open, and they say it is... in gtk-gnutella i have set the config as HTTP proxy, but on the command line i get Error 111 attempting to send info to HTTP proxy and i do not get connected to the gnutella network.. is it possible the proxy has port 1080 closed, the SOCKS host, could somebody please explain the socks thing to me as well if they have time? also, is there no way to turn of auto-connect to gnutella as my gtk-gnutella seems to freeze after the 8th failed attempt and i have to run ctrl-c on the command line, this is quite annoying when i try to change my settings (it gives me enough time to change one value before i have to end up killing the pid, and i know i could edit the config file, but thats not the point) thanks in advance!
