Your logs show that there is a fatal error in the system (libc library) malloc_usable_size() function.
This is a function that I did not re-implement when supplying gtk-gnutella its own redefined malloc() routine set. I'm going to remedy this immediately.
Are you able to re-compile gtk-gnutella on your Arch Linux platform to be able to validate, once I have fixed this, that it indeed resolves the problem for you?

Done, fix is in the "devel" branch as commit 28f9cb813016803026a0d86216bf6438e92635e8.
Please try to recompile gtk-gnutella from that branch and see whether you can now launch it on your system.
I will test it. I'll keep you updated.
It seems to be fixed. I'm able to launch and use gtk-gnutella.
Thank you for your validation. Closing.
