I am having trouble using grepWin to search for multiple text lines.

I copy about 10-20 lines from a text file (using Notepad++) and then copy them into the "Search for" dialog. I try the text search with default options but the search does not find any results.

Does grepWin support this type of search?

Frank

I'm guessing you need to use a regex to match the new lines.

Click the "/" button at the right of the search box. Then paste your multiline text in that dialog and click OK.
That's how you enter multiline-text: the search box itself can only handle single line texts.
