I've had the same problem with my dc-1515. I can list the files, but downloading give a seg fault. It's something to do with the sq905 camlib that those cameras use. I've built and installed libgphoto2-2.1.2 successfully and am able to download photos just fine, so try downgrading and see how that works for you. hope that helps, -morgan on 11/18/03 3:31 PM, Nigel Wilkinson at ni...@wa... uttered the following: > Evening all > > I'm using Mandrake 9.1 with locally compiled > libgphoto2-2.1.3 > gphoto2-2.1.3 > gtkam-0.1.10 > > The installation works fine with my Kodak but I did the compilations because I > bought a cheapo keyring camera that identifies itself as an Argus DC-1510 > which is only recently supported (It isn't actually a DC-1510 but has the same > VendorID/ProductID). gtkam recognises the camera and lists the files on it > (but no thumbnails) which have the ppm extension but when I try to download > them I get a segmentation fault. > > I have also failed to download them via flphoto and nothing happens. > > I've played around with the commandline trying to download via raw data but > can't even guess if the options I used were correct. > > The Argus DC-1510 is supposed to be fully supported in this version so can > anyone point me in the right direction to pull these out of the camera. > > I don't need full previewing of thumbnails (although it would be nice), I just > need to get them out of the camera and could then play with them on the local > drive > > Cheers > Nigel > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program. > Does SourceForge.net help you be more productive?
