Feature Requests item #731527, was opened at 2003-05-02 14:34 Message generated for change (Comment added) made by customdesigned You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=358874&aid=731527&group_id=8874 Category: camera support Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Stuart D. Gathman (customdesigned) Assigned to: Marcus Meissner (marcusmeissner) Summary: StyleCam Blink II Initial Comment: vend=0x0C77 prod=0x1011 I tried using driver for Sipix Web2 (prod=0x1001), but no dice. Command to show number of pics returns all 0. I would guess it might be similar to prod=0x1010 (SiPix snap) which is requested earlier - based on the fact that prod=0x1002 is compatible with prod=0x1001. I'll be happy to donate a camera to anyone who wants to work on this - or else could someone tell me what I need to work on it. Do I have to have a Windows install and some kind of USB tracing? I hate secret proprietary interfaces . . . ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Stuart D. Gathman (customdesigned) Date: 2003-08-28 14:55 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=142072 I installed libgphoto2-2.1.2, and the BlinkII support works perfectly for downloading the pictures. Yes, I can see that they need some interpolation and color adjustment. I know next to nothing about image processing, but will have fun trying to learn enough to to do it myself. But I won't mind if an expert contributes a real solution. The GIMP does the color adjustment just fine, but the interpolation (pixels seem to have different color components spread to neighboring pixels) seems to require some C code. Thanks! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Marcus Meissner (marcusmeissner) Date: 2003-05-20 17:41 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=48092 committed a driver to CVS. works to the point of downloading the not postprocessed jpegs (they need it, just look for yourself). feel free to try :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Marcus Meissner (marcusmeissner) Date: 2003-05-06 04:55 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=48092 amazon.com has them for 44 US$, so I have ordered one. I will be reporting further progress :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Hubert Figuiere (hfiguiere) Date: 2003-05-05 10:23 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=27487 marcus ?
