---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Henrik Andersson <hen...@gm...> Date: 2010/1/23 Subject: Re: [gphoto-devel] I have a problem... To: Marcus Meissner <ma...@je...> Ofcourse i build libgphoto2, i use trunk source because i need the recently added readonly flag for widgets.. So this is my problem.. both libgphoto2 and _port is trunk, compiled and installed... bot *.pc files are in place but my debian package build of my application failes because dh_shlibdeps failes to find dependency information for libgphoto2_port.so.9 which i think means that there is no "debian package" used to install this library/binary... So i think i need to build a debian package out of the source to install and then my application package can resolve the problem... /Henrik 2010/1/23 Marcus Meissner <ma...@je...> On Sat, Jan 23, 2010 at 07:36:49PM +0100, Henrik Andersson wrote: > > .. i have made an tethered application blah, blah using libgphoto2 , and > im > > trying to build a debian package out of it.. and it fails.. > > probably due to my application is dependent on the trunk source of > gphoto2 > > and package manager cant resolv it libraries > > hench im useless building debian packages but i think i can solve the > > problem with building a debian package out of > > libgphoto2 but i see there are no packagebuilding in the trunk for > debian... > > > > anyone who can just point me in a direction how to build a gphoto2 debian > > package out of trunk source ? > > You need to build libgphoto2 too. > > You can also build the 2_4 branch version of gphoto2 (check out the 2.4 > branch > if you need anything not in 2.4.7). > > > https://gphoto.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/gphoto/branches/libgphoto2-2_4/libgphoto2/ > > https://gphoto.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/gphoto/branches/libgphoto2-2_4/gphoto2/ > > Ciao, Marcus > |
