[gphoto-devel] setting apperture and other settings using libgphoto2

I would like to control my camera with my computer using libgphoto2. 
Using the cmdline gphoto2 with the --summary option I can get a list of 
all options, including if option is read or readwrite. So far so good, 
but how do I set (write) for example the F-Number? Either in C, python 
(via latest python binding,great!) or via gphoto2?
