Can you change default association for googles "work fax" to match to outlooks "business fax" in that we will not get a warning and the fax number will sync. I know I can change it to other, but I use other for different reasons.
Hmm, but as far as I know, this is implemented like this, see screenshot. Can you show me one example (screensot of Outlook contact and google Contact), where this mismatch is visible? And attach the log of the sync causing this? Maybe you used an old version to sync, because this was a bug in a very old version. Please try again with latest version 4.1.33, but you have to change something in the correct contact to trigger the sync (otherwise it will not sync, because LastUpdate date not changed :-)
