#879 Google appointment is overwriting Outlook, even though SyncOption MergeOutlookWins
I am not able to change an appointment in Outook. Whatever change I make in Outlook it gets undone and overridden by the Google appointment. There is no different organizer, both are my calendars Google and Outlook. While not an error per se, it just makes the whole appointment syncing non-functional.

Can you please check your appointment in your Google calendar, is the organizer/owner of the email the same email address you are using in GCSM setting? or did someone send you the item per invitation? or maybe you have invited someone per Google? all this would justify NOT overwriting it from Outlook to Google. if you cannot see anything please send a screenshot of your Google item

I have this issue as well. Google calendar items are overwriting Outlook calendar entries even when "Outlook wins" is set. The issue this creates for me is that calendar items in Outlook that are in the past and have been "Dismissed" are reset and they immediately appear in the Outlook "reminders" window (as Google still has notification 15 mins). Doing a "Dismiss All" only works until the next sync - when they are reset and I am reminded again about appointments days in the past. Its really annoying.
The appointments are ones that I created in Outlook and were copied to Google. The appointments are single (not repeating) with no other invitees and the google owner is the same as in the GSCM settings,
I have attached a screen shot of one of the Google calendar items affected.
the annoying the reminder overwriting I tried to fixed in latest versino 4.1.27, please try out and let me know, if it works for you.
The original reason for this support request (Google always overwrites Outlook) we need to check the logs. Do you have the same problem as well, i.e. even though "Outlook wins" is selected, the Google appointment always "resets" the Outlook appoint (not only regarding reminders, also regarding content or subject or dates)? If this is also the case, could you provide us your log files after this happened, please?
closed after positive user feedback: Changed a calendar entry in outlook and was changed in google. So this seems to work. I also have no longer received repeated reminders after sync. So looking good. Thank you.
