Hi, I'm looking at Crypt 2.2.5 and although a COPYING file is referred to, I don't seem to be able to find it in any of the downloadable packages.
What is the license on Crypt 2.2.5 and where can I find something referring to the specific license for the crypt project?

it's gpl. the license should be in the docs directory. view crypt.pdf or crypt.html. eg C:\gnuwin32\doc\crypt-2.2.5-doc
also this crypt is from 2002 you can find ufc (ultra fast crypt(3) ) as part of glibc now in crypt* files
