Hello I have a matrix:
y1 y2 y3
x1 z11 z12 z13
x2 z21 z22 z23
x3 z31 z32 z33
And I want to draw it as a heat map. There is now problem with drawing just z values. But I dont know how to change lables to mine. For example Id like to use dates as y labels.

What exactly is in the y column headers - numerical time in seconds? A string?

Ive added a sample file and a gnuplot script that I use. This file displais the change of the vector in time. Vector has 100 elements(100 rows). Id like to see the date and time labels on x axis, not just 0-1200 numbers. This file shows how distribution function evolves in time, from left to right. I can output data/time in any format. I made a mistake in my first post, I mixed up x and y.
