4.0.2 (ANSI-fied) checked in, tagged.

Hello, everyone,

just as I threatened yesterday, I now submitted what may well be the
single largest check-in in the history of our CVS repository.  The version
string is 4.0 patchlevel 2, aka 4.0.2, tagged GNUPLOT_RELEASE_4_0_2.

With this change, the current head-of-tree is now supposed to be free of
any K&R function definitions.  I also took the liberty of getting rid of
all trailing whitespace in source lines (which appears to have saved a
whopping 5 KB on the .tar.gz...:-)).  I also checked in the ChangeLog
cycling:

I cut it at the GNUPLOT_RELEASE_4_0_0 tag (2004-04-15).
