That's true of the 4.0 release, but not once the patch recently
submitted by Stephane is applied.  Ethan had trouble reading
gnuplot-generated EMFs under wine, but the evidence is that the
new-format gnuplot EMFs are read correctly under the actual Windows
gdi.
