I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean.  An audio *file* driver, or
a direct-to-hardware device driver?  The former should be a lot easier to
do.  Table terminal output should be reasonably easy to convert into an
audio file format of your choosing.

I don't quite see this as something we should put into gnuplot itself.
