Unless I hear otherwise, around midnight CEST (Central European Summer
Time) today, I'll tarball up the CVS head (tagged GNUPLOT_RELEASE_4_0_0)  
and upload it to SourceForge.net and ask Lars to put a fingerprint of it.  
That gives you all about 200 "last minutes" to find any remaining things
you want changed.  I will be off-line till then.

Please don't move any tags though --- check-in still allowed, but no
tagging other than by me or Lars.

Repeat: I want this out the door *today*, if at all possible.
