I didn't go through all of these - still needs to be done.

I took it out, in favor of a general statement about using ImageMagick
or the Gimp to process pixel-based image output.  I also deleted=20
discussions that date back to the 'good old days' of the net; e.g.
recommendations to look for files using archie.

Question:

Is it really possible for external users to send mail to
gnu...@li...?
I had the impression that only mail from subscribers gets through to
the list.
