HTTP/S on gnuplot.info?

For what it's worth: I just tried to connect to 
the project website via https://www.gnuplot.info,
but could not: connection refused, no redirect.

I am not sure whether this is intentional, but
https is really becoming expected now, and
letsencrypt.org makes it cheap (if not easy -
I don't know how/where the site is hosted).
