5.4.rc2 second release candidate for gnuplot version 5.4

I have placed a tarball for 5.4.rc2 on SourceForge

        o minor changes to dumb.trm, pixmap handling
        o -rc1 failed to act on "with labels rotate by <ang>" (Bug #2264)
        o \n _not_ stripped from string returned by backquoted shell command
        o fix autoscaling of boxplots
        o new function palette(z) returns packed RGB representation
        o lua/tikz terminal applies alpha channel to point symbols

Can someone comment on this issue - is it reproducible?
