[Gnuplot-bugs] Version 4.0 patchlevel 0 - labels and arrows are plotted even if they should be outside of xrange

I'am using Gnuplot Version 4.0 patchlevel 0
I noticed that labels and arrows outside of xrange are plotted anyway

could you please tell me if using a more recent patchlevel I would not 
incurr in this "problem"?

I have also gnuplot v. 4.1 but I'd like to continue to use v.4.0 since a 
lot of syntax has changed in latest beta version and I should rewrite 
all my (huge) scripts...
