[Gnuplot-bugs] Missing file on 4.0 version of Gnuplot

Hello, I was downloading Gnuplot from ftp://ftp.gnuplot.info/pub/gnuplot/
and before anything else, I decided to read the README file, and I missed=
 a
description about the contents of the directory Current.

So, I guessed that this was the last functional version of the software a=
nd
downloaded the file=20

ftp://ftp.gnuplot.info/pub/gnuplot/current/gnuplot-pre4.0.tar.gz

when I decompressed it, I missed the "configure" file, normally used as t=
he
first step of the installation process (./configure ; make ; make install=
)

I don't know if it is a bug or a caracteristic of the Current directory f=
iles,=20
so, in doubt I decided to write.
