While there are at least a dozen packages out there that can do non-linear least squares fitting, there are only two that can take into account the uncertainties in the measured values of the independent variable(s) [by the Orear method]. Those two are Gnuplot (version 5.0 or later) and Wolfram Experimental Data Analyst. -- Kind regards, Dan |
