Qt terminal status?

What is the status of the Qt terminal?  It easily builds and works on 
linux systems.  How about Apple?  Has it been tried on Windows?  I see 
in the configure files is AC_FUNC_FORK, but there doesn't appear to be 
any conditional code related to that in the qtterminal directory.
