[Gnuplot-bugs] Bug with 4.4 and log-scale?

Dear gnuplot developers,
I recently installed the gnuplot 4.4 from debian unstable and there was a
channge in the table output for log-scale graphes. Now I'm not sure, if this is
a bug, at least the old examples don't work anymore. Please compare the thread
on pgfplots:

Are there any ideas?
